Basketball

Basketball or basketball, frequently referred to by its abbreviation basketball, is a team ball sport between two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective of each team is to pass a ball through a 45 cm ring attached to a panel and placed 3.05 m above the ground: the basket. Each basket scored earns two points for his team, with the exception of shots made from beyond the three-point line (which are worth three points) and free throws made following a foul (which are worth one point). The team with the highest number of points wins the game.
