Blind football

Blind football is a disabled sport practiced by visually impaired athletes. Inspired by football, it follows FIFA rules, with adjustments to take into account the players' disability. Blind football should not be confused with 7-a-side football, another disabled sport derived from football played by athletes with motor disabilities, nor with goal ball, which is similar in principle, but which is based more on the game by hand. At the international level, the International Federation of Sports for the Blind is the reference federation. In France, the French Handisport Federation received a delegation on 31 December 2016 from the Ministry of Sport to organise the practice of blind football.
