Physical description

It is a blind football ball in the colours of the Paris 2024 graphics: pink, blue and white. Tony Estanguet, president of Paris 2024, signed on top of the ball, right between the agitos and Paris 2024. We notice that he stylizes, in his signature, paddles.

Notes

It is a blind football ball that was not used during the Paris 2024 Paralympic events, it is signed by Tony Estanguet, triple Olympic champion in C1 slalom, in Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004 and London in 2012. He is the only French athlete with Teddy Riner to have won three individual gold medals in three different Olympiads, and also a three-time world champion. He was the flag bearer for the French delegation at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and ended his sporting career in November 2012. From then on, he became co-president of the Paris 2024 bid committee, candidate for the organisation of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024. He then took over the presidency of the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games Paris 2024. A member of the International Olympic Committee as an elected member of the Athletes' Commission from 2013 to 2021, he becomes the fifth French member of the institution again in March 2025. If the signature of the President of the Organising Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games is symbolic with regard to this object, it is because after being triple European champion in 2009, 2011 and 2022, then Paralympic vice-champion in 2012 in London, the French team finally finished first at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
