Physical description
It is a pair of white suspenders, they belong to the costume of General de Gaulle embodied by Nathanael Marante a breaker, Mathias Dandois and Quentin Morien on BMX. It is not possible for us to identify with certainty which of the three men wore this costume. On the other hand, it is Nathanaël Marante on the photo of the costume sheet.
Notes
This costume belongs to the "Sportiness" tableau of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. This painting takes place on the Seine where five platforms between the Concorde and the Pont d'Iéna, take on the appearance of French gardens and host demonstrations of skateboarding, BMX, breaking and double Dutch. During this scene, the delegations parade while athletes dressed as historical figures occupy the stage of urban sports. This costume was worn by 3 people: the Breaker Nathanael Marante, then Matthias Dandois and Quentin Morien on BMX.
