Physical description
The lantern is about twenty centimeters high. Its structure is made of gold metal. It also has a glass plate through which the flame can be observed. The object, chosen by the Olympic Organising Committee, is a direct legacy of the mining past.

This is the lantern containing the mother flame for the Olympic journey of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
