Physical description
Used badminton shuttlecock, the white feathers are slightly frayed, the ends of the base are cut off and have burn marks. They are fixed in a cork stopper itself covered with a white rubber part, a pink adhesive with the words Paris 2024 holds the whole thing together. The signature on the upper part is in blue ballpoint pen.
Notes
This ruffle consists of a head, a half-sphere usually made of cork, and a skirt, feather tail. The feather shuttlecock is still the shuttlecock used in competition. It was used during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, for the para-badminton events. It was signed by Charles Noakes, on September 2, 2024, he became Paralympic champion in para-badminton in men's singles in the SH6 category.
