Cadot Michel

Michel Cadot (born May 22, 1954 in Suresnes, Hauts-de-Seine) is a French civil servant. Prefect, several times in territorial post (Meuse, Martinique, Maine-et-Loire, Haute-Vienne, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bouches-du-Rhône), chief of staff to the Ministers of the Interior Michèle Alliot-Marie and Brice Hortefeux, he was prefect of police of Paris from 9 July 2015 to 19 April 2017 and then prefect of Paris from 14 June 2017 to 16 August 2020. Since 17 August 2020, he has been interministerial delegate for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and interministerial delegate for major sporting events. In addition, since the same date he has been president of the National Sports Agency.
