Descat Hugo

Hugo Descat (born August 16, 1992 in Paris 12th) is a French handball player. After training and then becoming a professional at US Créteil (between 2007 and 2017), he joined the Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest in 2017. 2019 marks his return to France as he has signed for three seasons at Montpellier Handball. He joined the Hungarian club Veszprém KSE in 2023. Two years later, he was called up to participate in the 2024 European Championship, a competition during which he won his first European title with Les Bleus by winning the final against Denmark (33-31). The same year, he participated in the Paris Olympic Games where France finished in a disappointing eighth place.
