EDF

Électricité de France, more often referred to by the acronym EDF, is a French public limited company for the production and supply of electricity, 100% owned by the French State. The company is the leading producer and supplier of electricity in France and Europe. At the global level, EDF was in 2017 the second largest electricity producer behind China Energy Investment in terms of installed capacity, and the third largest electricity company in the world by turnover, after the State Grid Corporation of China and the Italian Enel.
