Édith Piaf (19 December 1915 – 10 October 1963) was a French singer, songwriter and actress. Nicknamed "La Môme Piaf" in her early days, she is at the origin of several hits that have become classics of the repertoire, such as La Vie en rose, Non, je ne regrette rien, Hymne à l'amour, Mon légionnaire, La Foule, Milord, Mon Dieu and L'Accordéoniste.
