Saya Sakakibara (born 23 August 1999 in Gold Coast) is an Australian professional road bicycle racer. A BMX specialist, she is Olympic champion at the Paris 2024 Games and winner of the World Cup in 2023, 2024 and 2025. At the 2024 BMX World Cup, she won four of the six rounds and won the overall classification by a wide margin. She was therefore the favourite for the 2024 World Championships, but after a poor start, she finished eighth and last in the final. At the Paris Olympics, she won all seven races in which she competed by a large margin and became Olympic champion.
